The Conference of
Asian Foundations and Organizations was conceived in 1996 by a small
group of civil society professionals pursuing new models for
collaborative action among like minded organizations across Asian
countries. CAFO seeks to enhance transnational civil society,
facilitating organizations to conceive a wider role for them and build
their capacity to address the needs and aspirations of the
constituencies they serve.
